Meet Our Expert Team

Dr. Joseph Griffin is a member of the South Carolina Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has received the South Carolina Palmetto Patriot award from the lieutenant governor’s office. He enjoys working with patients over time to get them to the highest level of oral care possible, and he does so by offering flexible financing options to fit nearly any budget. He is married to Susan J. Griffin and has two daughters, Ashley and Hannah. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, boating, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Dr. John Thomas Hess graduated with honors from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. He received advanced training in many aspects of dentistry during a general practice residency program in Columbia, SC. He served in the U.S. Army for eight years as an intelligence officer before attending dental school. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, biking, and traveling.

Dr. Daniel Visel has always been interested in the medical field and loved fixing things with his hands while growing up. He has completed studies and has vast experience in TMJ, dental implants, oral surgery, and laser techniques. He has been on 10 dental mission trips to Tegucigalpa, Honduras. In his free time, he loves to play golf and spend time with his family.

Dr. Eric Thiede graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2013 and has been with the practice since 2020. He enjoys traveling, strength training, being outdoors, and golfing.

Dr. Jonathan Thomas has a passion for dentistry that stems from a love of fixing things. He enjoys traveling, gaming, and spending time with his dog, Penny.
